Yeah I first ran across Debbie Arthurs when her debut album, Thank You Mr Moon, showed up on the Lake catalogue (LACD233) a couple of years back. She and her sidemen are all Brits, and they bring a slightly Edwardian feel to this old American ditty. Spiffing! A nice companion piece for Maurice Chevaliers version a la Francais. Just one quibble I believe Harry Richman had a hand in this one, along with Fred Ahlert and Roy Turk.
