Build your touch screen with two webcams (1)

Turn your normal screen into a touch screen by simply using two £5 webcams. you can even have multi-touch with 3+ webcams.

Note a normal webcam has 45degree view angle, and has to be placed a bit far away from the screen in order to seen the whole screen, as shown in the video. The slow response seen in the video is due to the poor light condition (10w table lamp), so that the webcams were working at 10fps (with 320x240). it works much better during the day, or with good light source. The program only uses 1% cpu of 1.4G
