  • UNSCHEDULED OFF-WORLD ACTIVATION.

  • @sashaZ523 I should've paid more close attention to the title too plus I've had both done, I should've been able to reconize the difference. Its still a very cool video.

  • Someday, all of this will be replaced by a 1 pound ring of x-ray LEDs, and a strip of CCD sensors, all faced with an aluminum filter, run off a usb cable, to a laptop, in a field hospital in Uganda (or some other 3rd world country)..

Lets hope it's sooner than later.

  • @carriersignal

except most people don't know what goes on inside one of these machines ;)

  • Just think, your laying inside of it with all that shit spinning really fast around you.

  • I am a RT as well that does both CT and xray. There's something exciting about hearing the CT machine spin up but also I get kind of relieved when I click end exam/next patient and I hear it spin down again. The hospital I'm at now uses a Toshiba Aquilion 16 (small community hospital) and I really like it. I've used a GE Lightspeed 16 as well that I was ok with.

  • I wished I could travel through time with this. Maybe you could add a Flux Capacitor and Time Circuits at the sides of the CT scanner and make it spin it faster than this, then as it hits 88,000rpm and opening up a portal, crossed your fingers and jump right thru......

The next thing you know, someone will find your body parts splattered all over the wall in the same dimension as they possibly know that time travel is impossible with our current technologies and resources.

    Amen.

  • 256 slice...... but still only a 7cm detector coverage...... #EPIC #FAIL

Toshiba Aquilion rules the CT game in all aspects.

    One beats all !
