  • Making alcapurrias, pasteles (plantain like tamales but in a plantain leaf instead of a corn husk) and the coconut desserts is a family affair. I remember grating plantains and other ingredients; also grating coconut when I was a child (just for a little while to help).

  • God bless your family. Thank you for sharing this video with us. I'm going to making this for easter. My mom past away a long time ago and I never got the chance to learn her recipes. Again thank you. Can't wait to see what else your mom can teach us. Give her a big hug and kiss for us.

  • I love the video but I the same time I felt so sad :( I really miss my family who are all in PR.

In my kitchen PR is in every meal :).
