Troubadour style or in Creole Twoubadou got into Haiti by way of Cuba (migrant laborers working on plantations there) at the beginning of the 19th century. It has found more than a niche there.

  • this music is so smooth, and for you haters on here writing stuff like this music was brought to Haiti from Cuba, you don't know what you're talking about get your facts straight. This is island music African drums mix with latin beat that's what makes this music and all caribean nations have that vibe. We were the first free ones so why would we bite??
