Yes, many always cherry pick his "dangers of military-industrial complex" warning, but ignore his second warning about the collusion of government and science! Ike was basically warning abot the collusion of govenrment and anything! Great leader he was. He not only saw war and knew its horrors. He saw bloated government and knew its dangers! Loved how he concluded by taking off his glasses and saying good bye as a private citizen. So cool!

War IS a horrible thing. I don't think Mister MegaZanyboy quite understand what he's talking about. I think he's just an angry and confused fellow. I doubt he can differentiate between his terminal sigmoid and an aperture in terra firma ;D
