The section on balance, around the 5 minute mark, is the most telling aspect of this speech. Many make more to do about his "military industrial complex" section, but they forget about the aspects of balance.

This is one of the greatest speeches ever given, Unfortunately since the times of this statesmen, there has not been a great president. God help us all

I always wanted to love Eisenhower as a president...and I did for awhile, until I discovered his complacency in the WWII conspiracy against Germany, which I simply can't appreciate. It goes against the very peaceful process which he preaches.

In spite of this, much of what he says is true, and his warning is more pertinent in the modern day than ever before.

In many ways, this speech was the precursor to Kennedy's.

The two of them build upon each other, and go hand in hand.

The Free Masons under our Founding Fathers was a great organization and they tried to make the US a utopia. @saskblondie Maybe because a dog that scratches its ass is an honest show, where as this guy talks about the industrial complex, yet refuses to tell us that he's a high ranking mason and that he is also apart of the elite and secret societies, maybe thats why..why cant people understand that to be president you have to be one of them, it seems even the so-called"awake" people still sleep, this is the first thing a person learns, that if you are PM or President, you are with a secret society !
