Tutorial to Root, Recovery and ROM LG Optimus V

SuperOneClickv2.1.1-ShortFuse.zip (search for that)
Super one click
Connect your phone to your computer with USB debugging on!
2) Root your phone with Superoneclick program
3)Download ROM Manager from Android market
4) Flash ClockworkMod Recovery
5) http://www.lg-phones.org/cm7-android-2-3-gingerbread-for-lg-optimus-v.html
5) download aospCMod-OV-20110307-signed.zip and
gapps-gb-20110307-signed
6) Turn off phone and put both these files on to your MicroSD card.
7) Start your phone into recovery MOD (hold Power button, volume down and home button at same time)
8) back up system (picture button is the select)
9) hit the back button then go to the option ADVANCED to clear your Delvik cache
10) then hit the back button
11) Install ZIP from SD
12) install aospCMod-OV-20110307-signed.zip
13) install gapps-gb-20110307-signed
14) reboot phone
You should be all set to have to CM7 on your phone. =)

Hey I did everything on here.. But I cant use the market? I tried to sync my GMAIL but it doesnt work. Also is it just the aospcMOD or is there a actual "cyanogen mod file" Thank you

@Lconroy8 you have to download the google apps and go through the recovery to install those as well

YAYYY. I did something wrong at first and my phone wouldn't do anything, but now it says it's booting into Cyanogen. Thank you thank you <3333333333333

I need help, i have an lg optimus v rooted and it doesnt let me go to market app, i cant add a gmail account, soo i tried factory reseting in settings, it took me to clockworkmod recovery v 3.2.0.1 and i went to "back up and restore" option and then went to "restore" option and it has - froyo/ so i clicked that and its saying its restoring to default and when its done it goes back to the main menu and then i clicked reboot system now, and it just reboots but goes back into recovery mode/ clockw
