  • Did this but instead of using rebar. I had pvc running along both sides at the bottom connecting it with Ts to the rounded support columns. Has stood about 5 years now.

  • Here in the desert southwest, this 6 mil plastic only lasts one season before hardening and shattering and making a complete mess of the surrounding grounds.

    I recommend buying UV Polyfilm with a 4-year life expectancy (of course that doesn't mean it won't last longer). I use GothicArch as my source, they will cut to your specifications and for under $25 I covered an 8 foot structure with a total length of 24 feet!

    I would never use the drop cloth 6 mil plastic ever again!
