So I thought I'd give a shot at doing videos in the car. Seeing as how I don't have much time to do videos, I'd do them while I travel.
In this first video (in 2 parts) I talk about an unfortunate event that happened to me today. A homeless woman came up to my literally in tears, crying that she was cold and had no money. I didn't think I had any cash on me, so I told her I was sorry and she left. Later, at the store, I took out my bank card and realized I had a bunch of 1ones in there. I felt horrible...
I also discuss the idea of prayer and its implications on the situation in Chile. I feel that prayer is an impotent method of "helping" people, and that it's lazy and merely an attempt to make one's self feel better about not doing anything tangible to help people.
Let me know what you think. Feel free to comment and subscribe!
The way it seemed when you got on Twitter was the praying was the ultimate thing you could do to help a person. Ironic, because praying is the ultimate act of passing the buck... how lame.
I would be much more appreciative to see something like #DonationsForChile. Not prayers.

I knew some people would start about prayers about chile. But I didn't expect the sheer amount of it I wittnessed on twitter. Another weep for mankind.
