This Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack from Killer RC is great for use in the battery box of many gas RC cars. It's 6.6v, 3200mAh. It is safe to use this pack with any 6v servo or receiver.

  • Will these packs hurt my servos ? They are rated a 6v max. The packs are 6.6 or 7.2 fully charged.

  • @yankphan100 They won't hurt your servos. They say 6v max, but a fully charged 6v NiMh pack is actually around 7 volts if you put a volt meter on it.

  • Im sick of lipo's and their issues. All of mine balloon. Could i use 2 of those to power my brushless st15? 13.2v would have reckless speed in it considering it does 40mph on 2s

  • No. These packs are for powering the servos and receiver in nitro and gas vehicles. It is not able to handle the high amperage of the main electric drive motor.

  • hello, can you help me?

i have a new protekrc life 2 cell 2100 mAh, by mistake i charge it in lipo mode, the charger detect it and stop at 5.57v, What should i do? i was thinking on discharging it, i dont know on what discharge voltaje.

  • @rafa37523 Just try to charge it in LiFe mode at 1 amp, and see what happens.

  • @pb2themax How about now?

  • What model charger is that? MaxAmps doesnt sell it anymore.

  • The LiFe batteries are great for receiver packs, but for powering high amperage brushless motors I would stick with LiPo for now. I could build a high amperage LiFe pack, but it would be expensive and big. Just give it more time for LiFe technology to advance. I think it will eventually make LiPo obsolete.

  • hey bro absolutely awesome and very informative videos bro but i do have question just geting back into rc an goin to be geting e revo brushless and will get lipo because of powers and runtime advantage goin with 5000 30c two cell in series x2 in series creating 4s but question is....... will LiFe battery give me alll that without the hazards that Lipo have............ iss such LiFe battery the available at this time
