This video illustrates how companies operating in developing countries can act as positive agents of change and contribute to creating better livelihoods. In addition, views of three business leaders - Rodney Chase (BP), Reuel Khoza (Eskom) and Eugenio Clariond Reyes (Grupo Imsa) -- give an insight into what 'sustainable livelihood' means to them.

  • For good volunteer opportunities in corporate social responsibility, contact the nonprofit Center for Community Work and People's Development in Manila, the Philippines, thank you.

  • Talking about sustainable livelihoods through building an aluminium smelter, and completely ignoring the massive energy requirements??!! Looks a bit like like feel-good greenwash. The basic point about the business potential is right though.
