but you need to remember that as a Palestinian/Lebanese they are also a part of your ancestry so in the attempt of trying to teach someone a lesson you are trashing your own history. The Phoenicians were a great people & achieved great things& they are still a part of the lebanese heritage as much as the rest of the civilizations that came through this land

The Christian Maronites are mostly to blame. The Phalangists base their thinking and war tactics on Hitler's Nazism. Killing innocent people in refugee camps? That's a Maronite tactic. It's a testament to the good will of the Muslims that these traitorous scum are allowed to stay in Lebanon. If they think they're European, they need to move there.

I admit that they made huge mistakes & committed unspeakable things but come on the other guys weren't exactly angels now were they?
& even before the war started the Palestinian guerrillas were using Lebanon to liberate Palestine & in the 60's & 70's attacked the Lebanese army in the south ...... like I said all are to blame

The Palestinians did what they had to do to protect themselves from Israeli aggression and Lebanese traitors.

I could care less about the Phoenicians. Does it matter today? I object to anyone who calls himself or herself a Phoenician. Only people with a racial complex think they're white Europeans.

I'm not asking you to care, just respect the people who do care about that part of their heritage That was systematically being erased for political & religious reasons (though it was revived also for political & religious reasons) but for me as someone who studied these things I can tell you you can't deny any part of your history because it is who you are & who you'll be.
