The Robot Song

This is a song I wrote as background music for a video that Chris, Joe, and I were going to make. We may end up making the video at some point. It was recorded using a keyboard, bass, guitar, and drum machine. The intro seems out of place, but I decided to leave it in.

yeah. i wrote it on a DR-5 drum machine then recorded it onto my computer. The drum beat is directly from the DR-5. The piano, bass, and guitar were recorded by my friend and I with actual instruments. The guitar and opening keyboard piece were played through a synth wah pedal.

The intro was reminiscent of Sandstorm and the song got pretty funky on the beginning. It got kinda boring in the middle, though, and then funky again right at the end. Tweak it a little more and you'll have a kickass dance song that I would love to use in a future dance video if you'd be okay with that.

How this song is not played on the radio is beyond me. I REALLY like it. Not too short, not too long, just right. Sounds worlds better than a lot of stuff that makes air play. GREAT JOB!!!! :D
