    Yeah, but in a calendar, your main concern is the date itself, not the month, so the most important information goes first, date/month/year. it also corresponds with time. as does your concept, with makes far much more sense than the american way!

    The american way seems totally random and illogical! chances are some idiot made a balls up years ago, and wrote the date the "american" way and ever since its been blindly followed/

    When flipping in a calendar, you flip to the month first, that's my guess. It really should be YEAR/MONTH/DAY if you ask me.
