6/5/11 -- Members of the Winnemem Wintu tribe of Northern California, led by Traditional Chief Caleen Sisk-Franco, visit the spiritual encampment at Glen Cove, on San Francisco Bay. They come to support the efforts to save the area from development and to hold ceremony for the salmon who pass by on their journey up the Sacramento River. They also pray for the health of the estuary, of critical importance to the life cycle of the salmon and all the inhabitants of the area.
