I love this voice! I compare all sopranos to Sutherland -- the gold standard-- and she can sing. I hope we get to hear more from her on YouTube and elsewhere.

i love it when you could tell the little video's mic cannot handle the soprano's voice. her voice and her singing cannot be contained in a box because it should be experienced LIVE.

I'm familiar with that version, there's a pre-Sumi-Jo recording of Sutherland & Bonynge doing exactly those ornaments. I actually took my inspiration from Deanna Durbin's recording, which though cut in sections, was sung as written. (Except for that ending high D, which my conductor, Maestro Mauro Visconti, asked me to do - and hey, if an Italian conductor asks a soprano for more high notes, thatsa what he's a-gonna get.)
