Most people know Hitler killed 6 million (Jews, Gays and others) people during the Second World War. Most people do not know that for 1500 years the Papacy systematically tortured and killed 50 million people.

During the Spanish Inquisition and other Christian torture and killing campaigns the Popes approved the use of some of the most horrific torture devices known to man.

The Christian sadistic torture machines were designed to prolong suffering (to cleanse sins) as long as possible before death.

80 popes did not care
And sent them to the Judas Chair.
50 million tortured killed
A river of blood the popes did spill.

Power corrupts but absolute power
corrupts absolutely.

The torture machines of the Inquisition
The popes approved and put in position.
They all added their cruel touch
The work and the weapons they liked so much.

Power corrupts but absolute power
corrupts absolutely.

The scarlet and the purple robes they wear
Cannot hide the torture, anguish and despair.
The Catholic church a false morality
Champions of torture and mortality.

Power corrupts but absolute power
corrupts absolutely.

The travesty of the papacy
Is nothing but a piracy
Designed to manipulate
And not to educate

Power corrupts but absolute power
corrupts absolutely.

The Pius popes murderous alliance
Hitler, Mussolini, Pavelic, compliance
Christian sadists terrorize and brutalize
The past and present you must realize

Power corrupts but absolute power
corrupts absolutely.

In Croatian Bosnia Franciscan friars
Sent the Serbs into the fires.
Participated in the bloody slaughter
Mothers, fathers sons and daughters.

Power corrupts but absolute power
corrupts absolutely.

  • If the Papacy killed 50 million people, Stalin looks like a pussy in comparision.

  • @abukamoon I don`t think any denomination including catholics have it 100% right. And I would rather have a little chaos than complete control of religious thought & interpretation as the catholic church would like to have. History has shown when they get that control they abuse it grossly and horrifically abuse people. Give me chaos over abuse & oppression any day. But I really don`t think freedom of religion is as chaotic as you feel. I think it is "working out our faith".

  • @paisleyyama Which Protestant sect has the Holy Spirit helped discern? There are over 33,000 of them. And they can't all be correct. So, which one is right?

Obviously this doesn't work. Everybody thinks he or she has the correct interpretation, but they all disagree with each other. We need some source to determine the true meaning of Scripture. You may not like that idea but the alternative is chaos.

  • @abukamoon I agree that as Christians we can`t choose what to believe we have to trust God`s choice. Therefore, He gave His Word for us to know truth & discern untruth. He gave us Jesus and the Holy Spirit to discern, not a pope. The pope has a track record of leading ppl astray so history proves he`s not a reliable source for truth & discernment. And it is the catholic church that has developed diverse theologies from the original Church which was not catholic. The catholics came later.

  • @paisleyyama While we all support freedom of religion in the political realm, I don't think that God does. I don't think that God people choosing what to believe and how to behave. This is the error of Protestantism - over 33,000 "popes", all of whom have their own idea of what is right and what is wrong.

I agree that the state should remain neutral in religious matters, but individuals need to conform to the Will of Good, and there needs to be a central authority to define it.

  • @paisleyyama While we recognize freedom of religion in the nation, it's kind of hard to think of God as advocating it. Obviously there can only be one truth. The Christians who defected from the original Church (Catholic) developed thousands of diverse theologies. Which ONE is correct?

Common sense tells us that the Church needs to have one central authority to interpret Scripture. Hence, the Catholic Church.

  • @abukamoon Catholic does mean universal, but you know as well as I do that we are talking about the catholic church not a universal faith in Christ or God. And if you want to get nit picky the catholics probably chose the name catholic to banish freedom of faith in Christ. Catholism is about "the one true church" but that is the one true church of the pope not God.

  • @paisleyyama The term "catholic" means universal, it was not a designation of a sect or denomination. And it is true that the original Christians were Jewish and recognized that Christianity was the fulfillment of the Jewish Religion.

Where I disagree with you is that you seem to be another "sola scriptura" advocate, rejecting Sacred Tradition. It says in the Bible that not all the truths of the faith were written down. It is the "Reformers" who added and subtracted from the faith.
