Minibot Wars is a fan made production of the popular former TV show Robot Wars that ran from 1997 to 2004. Minibot Wars uses the minibots and battle arena from the 'Robot Wars: Minibots' series, produced by Logistix Kids Retail. Contests are recorded in stop-motion format using a Nikon Coolpix L19 camera.

Minibot Wars Extreme is as series of consecutive episodes, where the fifteen competitors will compete for three open championships that will have to be continually defended at their given time.

  • @dalekandjedi The jumping is possible but professional and not something I want to commit to. Same with smooth movements, just needs more work put into it. It doesn't take me TOO long to make each episode, I pre-record it all but publish it sparingly. Sadly can't do anything about the static weapons, that's just the models I choose to work with.

  • @huckool well robots that dont jump for starts robots move smoothly because they have wheels and it takes to long to make each ep also the weapons on robots if they move they have a smooth motion

  • @dalekandjedi Could you please define further how stop motion is terrible for FMRW, I don't get it. What exactly makes 'good' FMRW?

  • @huckool debate? what debate? all im saying is that stop motion is terrible for FMRW

  • @huckool sorry for the double post, it came up error both times and i thought i did not comment. i agree there is no point setting up piles of equipment for a hobby it takes some of the fun out of it

  • @dalekandjedi Why you sparking this debate again from scratch? How is stop motion for Robot Wars 'really bad'? Looks more real seeing them 'move on their own' than someone's arms dragging them around. I'll never make sense of all this...

  • @huckool well their called "pullback" which means they have a elastic motor inside cos tbh stop motion for robot wars is really bad

  • @dalekandjedi And use what instead? Pullstrings?

  • @TheAirborneRogue A remote shutter? Though I do have more professional equipment, I decide to just use basic equipment as this is just a simple hobby. I may try and do some one off specials and do them really professionally with one of my better cameras.

  • @TaleOfTheToaster Flame pit = Electric grid (utilising available sound effects) ;)
