The Crow (1994) title intro done in After Effects

This was my first attempt in creating a title sequence for a movie using adobe after effects. I chose the Crow since this movie didn't really have an opening sequence. I know it needs a lot of work. My concept behind this is basically the crows journey from the unknown afterworld and into the city where the main character (Brandon Lee) in the movie returns from the dead. I started with the crow looking a little ambiguous in the begining and then taking shape as it progressed through its journey. In exception to the crow (which i obtained from various video sources), all was done with still images (yes even the lightning) which were touched up in photoshop, then used various methods and effects to make them a little more convincing with after effects.
Any constructive comments are welcomed.
Again, I know it needs a lot of work, and i could have approached this project differently. But i am done with this one and will continue improving my work with other projects.

I got the crow scenes from a series of videos i checked out from my schools library. Its called The Life of Birds (David Attenborough). I think you can get either the dvd or vhs versions at any major library or school library. Good Luck
