Hey dude,i bought a 316 from 1984 and I have a question,those lights(led I think) above the light switch and fog light switch on the left,are they standard or did you install them, because on my bmw they don't work,I mean they don't glow orange like your's does :/

@dexterts1 I think you have to replace the light bulb, they should glow.

@miloskujovic yup you are correct this is not the same engine, the E36 316i has the same engine than the E30 316i the M40B16 although some e36 have the M43B16 which i believe were never installed on the E30 tough i am not sure. sorry for my english
