Siskel & Ebert review the 1997 black comedy film 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag. Both of them didn't like the film though Ebert did like Joe Pesci and found him to be the only person in the film to be funny while everyone else in the movie isn't. Gene Siskel hated this film more though.

i liked it all right enough but the actor who's suticase is confused with joe pesci's is sooo bland and lifeless it leaves you wishing they could've gotten someone like steve guttenberg or johnathan silverman---i get that they wanted to go with someone who was mild mannered and average but they could've very easily had somebody who could at least play the surprise and horror at discovering human heads in his luggage! this guy barely registers a shrug at this! he was terrible!

I miss the 90s. When you could bring a duffle bag full of severed heads to the airport and not get hassled for it.

i thought it was fine. its a unique comedy, they're just mad that they couldn't direct it themselves. I honestly loved the grandma. Maybe they could've made difference choices with it but geez, its just meant for entertainment and the story line was entertaining enough. everything can't be perfect

I don't remember much about this movie, but I do remember the van scene as one of the funniest things ever in a film. Worth the watch just for that.

she has to hold the cigarette right to be liked by the viewers??? sure, that's why the movie tanked. nothing to do with the fact that every scene with the main guy was slit your wrists boring...
