9/19 UPDATE: While this particular cheerleader came away unscathed, we'd like to take a moment to recognize the Oxnard player who was seriously injured in Friday's game.
Senior safety Adrian Padilla suffered a serious concussion and reportedly collapsed on the sideline and had to undergo emergency brain surgery over the weekend.
He is resting at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and an account has been set up for donations at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust under the Adrian Padilla Benefit Account.
BallHyped encourages local football fans and alumni on the Central Coast and beyond to donate to Padilla and his family to help aid in the hospital bills and hope for his speedy recovery.
