How are you so confident? I'm 17 and I've had them my entire life on my ears and about 6years ago got 1 on my arm. I got picked on daily and it took a massive blow to my confidence. Now I'm a senior and I just cover them up. How do you maintain your confidence when people talk about it?

@Enrapturedollie I've always been a confident person. After developing Keloids, I refused to let a silly thing like scars stop me from maintaining my confidence. YES I have highly visible Keloids on both sides of my jawline...and on my shoulders, and back...but who cares?! Once you develop a "fuck it" mentality and don't let petty things like Keloids bother you, your confidence will spike and people will take notice! People will only pick on you if you let them!

@jump12man No, My keloids havn't stopped me from getting any woman i wanted as of yet. Alot of times I use my keloids to help break the ice...teach them a bit about what they are...then go in for the kill...lol

hey ramone, quick question i hope you can reply if you read this.

Personally, I have a penny sized keloid on my chest, a couple of small forming ones on my back, and one recent one developing behind my ear. and they itch DREADFULLY. my parents don't have med. insurance at the moment

I was researching keloid therapy and came up with this. I want to get them surgially removed, then radiation treament to keep from reforming. just wondering, would you consider this yourself?

@uberCOUGHmedicine Hey uberCOUGHmedicine....Personall­y, i would consider surgical removal followed by radiation a good option. But please understand that even with proper aftercare (radiation) there is still a good chance the keloids will return. Keloids are like roaches...hard to kill, even harder to keep from coming back! Results vary from person to person. As for the itching...try pure shea butter. you can find it at any african general store, or possibly at your local pharmacy. GOOD LUCK!!

Oh an by the way due to our amazing president you can now be on your parents insurance until the age of 26. So check with your mom to have her add you back to the insurance.

Hey, I thought you would like to know that scar-away silicone sheets can help reduce the size, texture, and color of keloids. I had a keloid on my shoulder that was very unattractive therefore I began treating it with the scar-away silicone sheets and they worked. The scar tissue has flattened out completely, the color of the scar is much lighter almost matches my skin tone, and the scar is less noticeable. I hope you try it and have the same results.

hey man luv u...ive d same keloids on same site n i visited a doctor who had 1 keloid on face...he gave me only 2 depomedral injectin shots d 1st one n 2 nd aftr 10 days n my keloids starts flatening he told me that he'll give me same dose with jetgun bcoz it hits d core of keloid n ive started using conctractubex gel twice a day n its giving d original skin tone so frnd try d same n have great life..luv u so much
