  • I have had ulcerative colitis IBD. For 18 years. And have suffered a 3 month flare. Bleeding, mucus, pain bloating, nausea, spasms, no energy, general malaise. I usually use enemas but they were not helping enough. They would help a bit. but then it just came back all the time. I started green juicing and 80% raw. Also cut out dairy and meat have had hardly any bread. The symptoms stopped in one day! That was nearly 2 weeks ago. Still on it no problems since. I feel great lots of energy. TY raw!

  • God Bless ya~! Who wouldn't fall off the wagon in France?!?! :D

  • there are no specific suggestions about treating this syndrom other than the book.

  • Loads of dark green leafy veggies *thumbs up* They are rich in the in the B's. I have nerve issues myself and they have helped significantly.

  • Thanks for the reply! I guess I will just keep supplementing with magnesium, as it seems to really help me as well. I eat tons of flax and hemp. I am going to start upping my vitamin C intake and see if that helps. Yoga has helped me immensely too! Anxiety is a tough one to beat, and while I think dietary changes help, I still have never heard of anxiety being cured by raw foods - there is a spiritual/mental component we need to address as well. Good luck to you!

  • I found that supplementing magneisum is really important for anxiety. Making sure you get enough EPA and some DHA (omega), EPA being the most important when it comes to mental health. Also vitamin C above 2000mg seems to blunt adrenaline and cortisol increas in stressful situations. I also found that doing yoga to be of huge benefit. Though resutls take a little while to kick in.

The rest seems to be re training your brain and facing the things that make you anxious

    (this is all my experience

  • Matt and Angela - Could you guys make a video about healing from anxiety? I have been finding this pretty difficult, and I am sure I am not alone. I was wondering what you think the connection is between anxiety and colon health. I have noticed energy shifts by taking magnesium products, such as Natural Calm...and obviously colonics. Thanks!

  • I love hearing these stories! keep 'em coming. It is one thing to read stories online, but seeing/hearing from people on your show is even better!

By the way, I'm reading Raw Emotions right now and I'm about to create my optimal vision. This book has been very inspiring Angela!!! Thank you so much for all that you do :)
