I have no idea why your comment was spammed. I agree that they weren't appreciated fully by the judges although the enjoyed huge popularity with the audience. They had their own distinctive and inentive style and personally I enjoyed watching them more than any other couple since Torvill and Dean with the Duchesnay-siblings as a close runner-up.

After coming a dissapointing 4th at the GP final, their 2nd straight loss that season to their archrivals Anissina/Peizerat, they totally reworked their OD and FD to add difficulty and footwork, and were rewarded with a sound defeat of their French rivals and the bronze medal. A great achievement for them, the first of 6 world medals they would win, despite being underrated by judges.
