An eclectic group of musicians, Rich Hall (piano), Melissa Welch (sax), Rich Mahoney (accordion), Don Taylor (guitar), along with a cast of hundreds, meet this Thursday at Paul Henry's Art Gallery to sing Old Lang Syne, a farewell to 2011.
Paul Henry's Art Gallery is a little gem in Northwest Indiana, 20 minutes from down town Chicago. Each Thursday night, the Art Gallery, located at 416 Sibley, Hammond, Indiana 46320 (219 678 5015) features an open door venue for acoustic music for all types of artist, both local and national.
The gallery's walls and shelves are graced with art works, which range from oil and acrylic paintings, photography's, carvings, pottery and unique jewelry. It is a walk back thru time to the turn of the century. At the end of this film are just a few pieces of art found at Paul Henry's Art.
Thursday night is the night to take a drive, bring a friend, stop in, listen to the music, poetry, have some food and a cup of the great special brewed coffee provided by the Blue Room Coffee Shop.
