My Grandpa who passed away a while back flew as a marine. He mostly flew A-4's, and my dad asked him once how he knew what ships to shoot at. He said the one's that moved...

why are you so racist? By calling another race names you are inferring your race is superior. Ask yourself what is an American; we're all Americans, remember that. Think wisely when you post next time, otherwise others will assume your mom turned on the computer for you.

@TheGus619 But the North eventually invaded the south anyway. The policies became strict and political opponents were arrested, but it was no massacre. All the war did was adding a few more million casualties to the conflict. Almost 60.000 of those were american soldiers, but most were civilian Vietnamese.

What your forgetting is if the Allies hadn't stepped in the North would have massacred the south when they invaded them

Another pointless battle in a pointless war! We must never ever forget those poor inocents who paid the ultimate price for the follies of the war lords!

It's sad this war. Remembering !
My mother is from Vietnam, she had to escape from the war. her brother was in the military, but the family did not want him to join the army, so he ran away with my mom ... they ran a small wooden boat and was rescued by a Norwegian oil tanker that ran out of Vietnam to rescue refugees. The mother and her father was bombed in the war and died ...

@Dankieo My parents escaped Vietnam in 1979 because they could not stand the communist policies in Vietnam right after the Chinese invasion of Vietnam. They manage to get on boat and went on for 6 weeks until they were picked by US Navy. Then my mom and dad flew into San Jose, CA and they had to wait for 6 months just to get a citizenship.
While my parents were away, my dad's grandfather, a former ARVN officer, was still imprisoned after the 1975 communist take-over.
