Thanks for uploading the clip. I have the Canon 7D and Rode Stereo Mic also but I believe the Mic may be faulty. Can you advise if you made any adjustments to either the Mic or the Camera in shooting this clip. I believe the camera is constrained by Automatic Gain Control which you can't change. I would be grateful for your advice. PT
Awesome. With ML firmware on your Canon you can turn auto gain off. This mic is awesome.
B&H has a bundle for $170 you get the Rode Video Mic, 10ft cable, and a Boom pole.
Use a rubber band to keep the mic from moving on the mount. I heard people do that.
