Having been assembled we now take a quick gander at the woinders that will come of its use.
My son and I will be doing a series of video tutorial on the use and abuse of the CARDIAC over the course of the summer.

You do the arithmetic yourself. What Cardiac did (including start my career) was introduce the concepts of instruction sets, step-by-step execution, memory store, registers, branching, absolute addressing, and (if memory serves) relative addressing. Seeing these fundamental steps completely demystified computers (for me) at the logical level. Later, building a few basic logic circuits from parts and a book at Radio Shack demystified them at the harware level.

I've been seeing these mentioned online recently but had no clue what on earth it was until now. thanks for clearing things up! I unfortunately still have no clue how the actual computation takes place. Any chance you'll be giving an example with real numbers so we can better understand it?
