@Ray01Geogeass Sonic never had magic carpets. If you're referring to Secret Rings, it had new features, like an on-rails system, level-up system and party mode. But no actual gimmick.

@vgman94 Exploring the galaxy it's a larger part of his universe which he didn't explore YET. But doesn't sonic havenew gimmicks also I mean think about it he goes from magic carpets, Wherehog,and Knight of the round it's not really original since their only adding on to the story.Still lots of people don't like sonic but I like both since they both kick-ass

@RayGeogeass I always felt the stories were different, except or the Chaos Emerald thing, which they dropped by Unleashed. Also, I always talk about the main series, not racing, party or sports spin-offs. I get your point there, though. Also, exploring the Galaxy means what, exactly? New levels and new level gimmicks. But the water mantis/squid levels are the same. Might be others that are the same, but haven't seen as much. Still, if you like Mario, I won't blame you. But a lot of people don't.

@vgman94 Sonic's only re-living stories from the past and last time I checked the only time there was a gun was in Shadow the hedgehog. YOu don't have to hate on mario because he does other things to like

The same shit over and over with little change in anything important (jumpjumpjump-snore....) while Sonic does something new and interesting in almost every game (guns, team gameplay, Werehog, this game's sword) and they get hated. Sonic has the most variety of any series and it's hated for it. What the flying fuck.... ?!?!?!
