wow.. i have a moped with a chinese clone monkey 50cc engine, it's not that responsive to throttle :) is that carbureted or efi?

yea i agree, it is quite a costly extra, and sometimes simpler is better. however if i was making my own engine its definatly something i would be prepared to pay for, and when you addd up how much it would cost you to generate about 10-20% more power from other means, it starts to look cheap :P
