this is part of the EXPERIMENTAL MOTOR, is a disc with 4 neodymium magnets and two coils in the form of half circle...! i am using a circuit with hall effect sensor....! I do not have data of the motor because I have been finishing it minutes ago, and is the first test...!

  • Dude, you are taking big risks spinning that big acrylic disk with those epoxied-on magnets on it at those speeds! The forces due to that spinning could easily blow that motor apart. There have been some famous "explosions" in the past where engineers spun large armatures too fast for their design, and they blew apart, blasting metal parts everywhere and doing incredible damage. Those magnets are really going to hurt if they hit you.

  • @SphinctersForever yes my friend, i am working in that problem, and i am ussing a box of acrylic to protect myself in case blow the rotor...! thanks for the advice.

  • @perazaroberto2 si te entiendo bien, los gobiernos aprueban cosas como reformas para cobrar mas impuestos, por ejemplo, y se les olvida que hay un sector de ciencia y tecnologia, con lo cual el pais estara al tanto te los adelantos cientificos, yo no dudo que exista en mexico, pero es un sector olvidado por sus legisladores....! gracias.

  • Hola sky. Tengo una pregunta, si no es inconveniente. ¿Podrías publicar el diagrama electrónico y detalle de los componentes, por favor? Me encantaría hacer algo así. Lástima que aquí, en Ecuador, no es fácil conseguir acrílicos como los que usas, pero ya veré la manera de ingeniármelas. Gracias anticipadas por tu respuesta. stu

    As you like to experiment with different shaped coils..how about a Yin/Yang shape?
