One hundred years after its premiere...a new vision for Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring. Intimate and sensual, this intense solo work is danced by virtuoso Paul White.

Set to Stravinsky's seminal composition, The Rite of Spring, The Oracle is devised by celebrated choreographer Mary Tankard. The work explores the conflicting forces of nature and man, masculinity and femininity, violence and nurturing, strength and vulnerability. The intensity of the subject, the stark and brooding aesthetic and the power of the rhythmic musical score deliver an atmosphere of coiled-spring emotions in this haunting and critically acclaimed work.
