I definitely don't see the hatred in his eyes. There is an intense focus when he is talking about issues that he deeply cares about, but no hate. And I say that they like each other because they have said that they like each other.

Part of the reason they want nukes is due to a self preservation streak, with the USA talking threats continuously the only way they can prevent an invasion is to get a nuke or two.
