@Taurusaud we need to remember that republicans will continue to fight this movement and in doing so will give true conservatives like us a bad name. There is definetly something wrong with our system. Incentives are in all the wrong places. Look no further than judges throwing innocent kids to private prisons for a quick buck. We need to prioritize as a country. What good is it having an uber wealthy nation if said wealth is concentrated amongst only a large handful of people?

I find it strange that some republicans actively fight the OWM. Its like they really hate when people point out that something is wrong with our system. GE pays a negative tax rate yet the protestors are the bad guys? You people cut off your nose to spite your face. Put the partisan bullshit away. There are issues with government being in bed with big business that must be addressed. Thank god for the OWM. They started a conversation that the elites in this country did not want to have.

Not to defend or not to defend OWS, most of them may not know who or what is to blame, butt they know that SOMETHING is wrong. Just like everyone else. I do credit them for actually doing something, albeit misguided & manipulated by the left , while the people (yes including myself) that do know whats up, sit on our asses.

The reporter brings up many good points, but we all know that the protesters don't really know what they are protesting specifically, they only know that they are against big business. It's sad really, and particularly sad that thousands are blindly following the organizers.

I know someone down there who was one of the 700 arrested, and he cant specifically tell me why they are down there or who influenced him. Basically he said its a hodgepodge so I heard it first hand. This person is being set up...he has no idea whats really going on and who is behind it. The weird thing is he does not want to listen to the facts. I guess he want's to go down in history as "one of those 700 who were arrested".
