Rhodes International Airport, "Diagoras" or Diagoras International Airport (IATA: RHO, ICAO: LGRP) is located on the island of Rhodes in Greece. The airport is located 14 km south west of the capital city of Rhodes, near the village of Paradisi.
-It is the fourth busiest airport of Greece in total passenger volume. The airport entered operation in 1977, the year when its construction finished and replaced the old and insufficient airport situated in the Maritsa area. The airport covers a total area of 31,000 m². and with the undergoing expansion its going to be doubled. The new terminal, opened in 2005, will improve the services offered to charter airlines. The airport operates all day all year and many services are available: car hire, banks, duty-free, cafes and parking outside the terminal.
-The airport is well signposted and can be reached via the dual carriageway coastal road which runs all around the island. The city of Rhodes is a 20 minute drive to the northeast.

Getting to and from Rhodes Airport
-By car, the airport can be reached via the well-signposted coast road which encircles the island. The city of Rhodes is a 20-minute drive to the northeast, while in the opposite direction the road continues on to Paradisi, Soroni, Emponas and Monolithos. Buses to Rhodes city centre and other island destinations depart 300 metres from the terminal; consult the airport's information desk for current timetables. Taxis are also available outside the terminal building.

---Rhodes airport by coach: Buses connecting the airport and Rhodes Town travel several times a day, and a one-way ticket costs approximately ˆ2. The bus stop is located approximately 300 metres to the left of door 1 of the terminal. Journey time is around 40 minutes.
---Bus times from the airport: 06.50, 09.45, 10.45, 13.40, 16.00, 16.40, 19.10, 19.50, 20.25, 20.50, 23.05. Further time tables can be obtained from the airport information desk.
