I've watched this video a few times now, it sounds so good, could i ask, is it hard to make one? i've got a good mate whom plays the harmonica and this would be an ideal thing to make for him. thanks, Joe

No, very easy. Just need to get hold of an old telephone earpiece. drill soem holes and glue the earpiece in. Wire it to a 1/4 inch jack socket and Bob's your uncle.

No Joe, most telephone earpieces will work both ways - transmit and receive. The mouthpieces don't seem to work well with an amp but the earpieces make quite good mics. This is one from a 60s/70s old style phone. Looks like a small metal can with holes in it. Just drops into the handset.
