This was my son doing a test run on our custom made go kart in a parking lot. It was built with a Kohler 674CC V-twin OHV water cooled engine.

  • where did you find the RAGB? need one!!

  • It is a Comet 94C variable belt drive transmission rated at 30HP. There available all over the Internet.

  • Yea with the spider gears welded together it does need more weight in the front. With only 1 disk brake in the rear, I needed to make the rear end lock up so 1 wheel in the rear would not do all the braking. Thanks for the compliment.

  • It had taken me about 2 months to build. I used a Toyota 4-Runner IFS differential for the rear end with a 4.10 gear ratio.

  • oh i see it now, but unfortunately comet industries went under a week ago

  • Holy shit that thing is awesome sweet ride

  • thats probably the COOLEST go kart I have EVER seen. Looks like she's got one helluva push when you steer it cause there's no weight up front, but I guess thats just the nature of the beast. Great build man.

  • nice how long did it take to build?
