  • i wonder exactly when poor tragic tony hancock realised he,d dropped such a major b'llock after splitting

from Galt/simps? Tragedy of ego. His loss steptoe' s gain-and ours.

Timeless stuff-i always come back to it. steptoe and hancock.

  • "You're not turning funny are you?"

  • We haven't watched TV for 9 years now.

    DON'T miss it one bit.

We enjoy the little time we have to unwind, with an episode of this or may be 'Some mother's do have 'em', or some Ronnie Barker and David Jason in 'Open all hours' and a little bit of 'Porridge' followed by some Fawlty Towers or 'Rising Damp'.Oh and some Poirot or Inspector Morse or may be Columbo. Who needs the telly? NOT ME :)

  • ah back when britian was great

  • @MrBuckley123 what??

  • Wonderful performance by Colin Gordon!

  • omg I about died when the tax collector started chasing Harold around the junkyard at the end of the show!!!

  • I remember Lyons maid ice cream, it`s good to see the plaque on the front of the shop.

  • @plasticbudgie I agree! What crap we have in the name of entertainment today! Talentless people with the intellegence of a processed pea. The telly`s not worth watching now, but you tube is GREAT! And we got it just in time to replace the dross on the box.

  • @erroneousapostrophe she does!!! as long as she didn't go upstairs on a bus!!!!
