i wonder exactly when poor tragic tony hancock realised he,d dropped such a major b'llock after splitting
from Galt/simps? Tragedy of ego. His loss steptoe' s gain-and ours.
Timeless stuff-i always come back to it. steptoe and hancock.

We haven't watched TV for 9 years now.
DON'T miss it one bit.
We enjoy the little time we have to unwind, with an episode of this or may be 'Some mother's do have 'em', or some Ronnie Barker and David Jason in 'Open all hours' and a little bit of 'Porridge' followed by some Fawlty Towers or 'Rising Damp'.Oh and some Poirot or Inspector Morse or may be Columbo. Who needs the telly? NOT ME :)

@plasticbudgie I agree! What crap we have in the name of entertainment today! Talentless people with the intellegence of a processed pea. The telly`s not worth watching now, but you tube is GREAT! And we got it just in time to replace the dross on the box.

Seriously everytime i watch something like this im 20 years old, and i catch my self mutterng the good olde days, seriously i was so born before my time, take me back to the days where people had character, and talent, and there was no codsbollocks on tv like xfactor and that god awful cheryl cole, take me back to where comedy was good not like that useless james cowden... just bloody build me a time machine, i dont need the internet the simple life was far superior to this crap today :(
