i think both version are awesome as HELL....

Thank you so much for this!
I find the "creative" translation for the English opening entertaining, certainly, but I prefer the original hands down. I'm so glad you uploaded it! =)

You're doing God's work. It's a shame people only like the English version of this series, as it's fucking terrible.

I used to have this song on my Ipod before I upgraded computers and lost everything in my libary.

Finding the original japanese opening for this song was actually a bit harder than it usually was with other anime. Thanks a bunch!

@Gername12 Pushing what? (the post was 7 months old, so I don't really get what you're referring to here)

@Shitsuren No one should intrude on others opinions. I frankly agree with you, but you are pushing it here.

These guys have better harmonization in this version, but Hideki sounds too fancy for a hick. Mako is not good when she sings with the others (she is great when alone.) Ichiro is just fine.
Also I think the English version tried to add more oomph to the song by doing away with the harmonization and going with the sounds of excitement. Both versions have their merits and no one should intrude on what other people like.

I prefer the english, but this is allright I guess XD
You're wasting your time doing this, because the dub is better than the sub. Especially when Greg Ayres, Chris Patton and Luci Christian are involved, and they're Hideki, Ichiro and Mako to me, not the japanese VAs.

Matter of opinion, some people just likes the japanese version better. Even though I must admit that english dub in NDB is better then in other animes.

@Stardius No, no, the dub is definitely better than the sub. That's only because the jokes adapted for English are funnier than their direct Japanese translations. English adaptations of Animes are always going to be more relatable and better understood by an American audience (especially because Japanese jokes are often pun-oriented, and it's specialness is lost in the subs). But, again, it's just for 'funny' animes, like NDB and Papuwa!.

@Shitsuren I can't even count how many times this sort of discussion was brought up and always people seem to prefer Japanese one in everything. That doesn't mean that English dub is generaly bad, it just wasn't good in most of anime I've seen. With exception being NDB, DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh and few other anime of older date. To tell the truth most of the older anime have good english dub.

While the new ones, well not soo much. Expecially that cute female voice that Japanese seiyuu have is something, that english dubbers are unable to copy. But in the end it is really more about what are you looking for. Japanese dubbing usually sounds more natural, while English one might try to make different references and puns more understandable.
