@ansekt93 I LOVE this show. But i doubt it would be in its 8th season. Wouldn't bridget and kerry too old for this. Then he'd start looking at rory, which really wouldn't make sense at all. However, I do wish they started this show about 2-3 years earlier. Ritter would've been in more episodes. But the first 31 episodes are the best. R.I.P. John Ritter.

I love this show, but I don't know how it could have gone past 4 seasons even if Ritter had still been alive.. Think about it.. Bridget would have gone off to college in Season 4 so she wouldn't have been on the show anymore, and Kerry would have gone off to college the next year so she wouldn't have been on anymore either.. So that would have left just Paul, Cate, and Rory.... It's probably a blessing in disguise the show only lasted 3 seasons..

This show would've gone over to Season 8 by now and ended. Then we would see Kaley on Big Bang Theory. David Spade was ok but I was so confused when I saw that episode where their dad died..then later on I realised that the actor died in real life :( so sad

really i only like the episodes without the dad.
i am sorry but why the hell is everyone 'missing' him so bad? Just cuz he died?
He was the most lame excuse for comedy in this show anyway

yeah. and i meant that in a good way, cuz i also like reba. and i think other shows tried following the rossanne trend as well. like My Wife and Kids where junior got his girlfriend knocked-up.
actually i think MWAK and 8SR were the only ones to have big changes like that.

If John Ritter still be alive the show would surely be on the 8th season for sure
