oyvindsolbjoer, Would it be possible to a sample of the G code for this cycle? We have a DMG Beta 1250TC and we're using Topsolid to program it. We'd like to do off center turning but my CAD/CAM reseller would like to see some sample code if possible. Thanks.

What are the benefits versus the normal lathe?

This is as spectacular as the Asian machine cutting an hexagon shape at the end of a brass billet while it is turning, high speed by the way. It's on the Tube somewhere.

yeah, Mazak is the best!!!!!!! I worked on 400Y, doin the cam and crank-shafts for renault F1 (for alonso at the time:)
