XA-0.1-B (Xombie) boosted hop to 1,047'. Masten Space Systems flew Xombie to its highest altitude yet! All systems functioned well. Xombie landed within roughly 3" of its take off point. A special thank you to the Friends of Amateur Rocketry for letting us use their facility.

  • Зуб ставлю, это пепелац, а не улутул, потому что гравицапу стырили..... :D

  • yes!!

  • Make a "launch gun" to mount your camera on, that's what we do at our launches.

    That was out standing guys!!!

Got to make you feel a bit god like pulling that off.

  • Awesome!!! The most impressive little rocket I've even seen! That's the way froward. Way to go.

  • You might want to turn off autofocus in future videos- it often gets confused when trying to focus on a small object against a blue sky. Get far enough away from the action, set for infinity, and you'll get better results.

For closer-in video of engine runs, I also turn off steadyshot, because in high-noise environments it can't cope and makes the shake worse. Remember to loosen up the vertical axis on the tripod too!
