XA-0.1-B (Xombie) boosted hop to 1,047'. Masten Space Systems flew Xombie to its highest altitude yet! All systems functioned well. Xombie landed within roughly 3" of its take off point. A special thank you to the Friends of Amateur Rocketry for letting us use their facility.

Make a "launch gun" to mount your camera on, that's what we do at our launches.
That was out standing guys!!!
Got to make you feel a bit god like pulling that off.

Awesome!!! The most impressive little rocket I've even seen! That's the way froward. Way to go.

You might want to turn off autofocus in future videos- it often gets confused when trying to focus on a small object against a blue sky. Get far enough away from the action, set for infinity, and you'll get better results.
For closer-in video of engine runs, I also turn off steadyshot, because in high-noise environments it can't cope and makes the shake worse. Remember to loosen up the vertical axis on the tripod too!
