Feb. 22 - In Ohio the loss of 250,000 manufacturing jobs in the past four years will be key when voters go to the polls. The decline in US manufacturing is nowhere more evident than in parts of Ohio. As factories close, two-hundred and fifty thousand manufacturing jobs have been lost in the past four years...those jobs will be on voter's minds March 4th when they go to the polls and the major candidates are keeping jobs and trade the focus on the trail. Ruben Ramirez reports from Columbus, Ohio.
In just 4 YEARS Ohio lost 350,000 manufacturing jobs to GEORGE BUSH and his Free Trade/Outsourcing agenda from 2000-2004.
This was a well known fact all over Ohio. And what did the state of Ohio do?????
THEY VOTED OVERWHELMINGLY IN SUPPORT TO RE-ELECT GEORGE BUSH. The state of Ohio was THE KEY STATE in defeating JOHN KERRY in 2004.
Now they have lost another 125,000 as a direct result of the Free Trade/Outsourcing policies of the man the state helped to re-elect.
Boo fucking Hoo!

So interesting looking back and noting that over a year and a half later...our hours have been cut because it was going to cost more to lay us off where I work. Some great stimulus...some great job creation. Reuters just said today that CEOs aren't planning on spending or hiring....they plan to cut more jobs. Guess they want to make sure they get theirs.
