Eco Hotel: Andaman Discoveries

This slideshow presents Andaman Discoveries, a tour operator out of Phang Nga, Thailand, and a winner of Wild Asia's Responsible Tourism Award for 2010. It is an ongoing community-driven project that stemmed from tsunami relief. They offer activities such as handicraft workshops, jungle hikes, cooking lessons, and other community-led projects which put tourists directly in contact with locals, thereby promoting a sense of authenticity in the tour experience.
