Damn Umair Jaswal is hell of a singer....Currently with Qayaas. I saw him perform couple of days ago and i can say this for sure that he is the best Paki Rock Vocalist out there at the moment...

bring all bands of india together and compare to Junoon or Vital Sign, Raeith, Aaroh, Strings etc etc etc etc.. Indian bands are not even closer to them, we have hundreds of bands at top levels and have won international competitions..

@KingpinSS - its maybe good that pakistan got no leading cinema, and in fact it made pakistan's music industry grow quite much as well for underground rock scene. Now i see many of these artists are doing music for upcoming Pakistani movies, one example is the movie Bol, also Khuda Ke Liye.
Silversmoke got deep and good music quality as well. I heard this years ago, still refreshing to hear it today :)

@sreejith20988 almost every nation's artists do rock in their native tongue...it sometimes seems very stupid that indian rock bands do it in english.

I won't put it quite that way. I have never bashed Indian rock music, but i do feel there is a disconnect. There is some very good rock music that comes from the Indian indie scene as well, but i have always preferred the Pakistan rock bands. I do think a lot of this is due to the presence of Bollywood. I think it really suppresses the indie scene. The absence of such an entity in Pakistan in a way has been very beneficial for Pakistani rock bands.

Well...this is good stuff....
But i want to tell one thing to all those praising pak rock ...
Pakistani rock scene is nothing compared to the Indian Scene.....but the thing most indian bands makes music in English and hence not very popular....but MQ wise paki bands are nowhere to Indian ones ...
Dont believe my words ...juz listen to Mothejane . Bhayanak Maut, Avial Junkyard Groove, ThermClones, Raghu Dixit etc etc etc ....
Nothing compares to pakistani underground rock at times...and this song proves it !
its anodr thing that we dont get to c or hear these guys more often on main stream media ... but i guess thats the beauti of it....this music isnt for everyone ;)
awsome song man. keep it up

Salute to Pakistani rock. This comes from someone who lives in North East India and doesn't consider himself as an Indian.
