LITERAL VIDEO *CONTEST*

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 10th!!!

SING IN MY NEXT LITERAL VIDEO VERSION!!!

I'm looking for someone who's NEVER sung in my videos before to do the lead vocal for my upcoming literal version of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" music video. To enter, upload a YouTube video of you singing the original lyrics (using the MP3 below as your karaoke track). Then send/PM me a link to the video. Winner will get to sing in the video, plus some neat souvenirs.

Anyone (famous, friend, or unknown) is welcome to enter, as long as you've not sung in my videos before. (I will also accept entries from anyone who just wants to do spoken word parts, with a video of you simply talking about why you want to be picked for that, too.)

Entries must be submitted by June 30th. Contest rules subject to change any time, any place, or possibly not at all. Questions? Let me know.

I just had to show my daughter this video after seeing the dancers on SYTYCD tonight dance to Total Eclipse. I hate that I just found out about this contest. I have access to professional recording equipment and am classically trained vocally. Would you still be interested in a submission for any other upcoming projects?

I have compiled my official list of contestants. 6 women tried out for the lead vocal, and 4 men have offered to do speaking parts. (Not bad for my first-ever contest, really.) I hope to contact everyone, and make the official winner announcement, later this week. Thanks to everyone who entered!

I am challenged in the sense that I don't own a video camera and have never uploaded a You Tube video before but I sing in a local band, I'm experienced and I have the voice for this - I am all over it... I wish there were some other way I could contact you - any chance I can just send you an mp3?

I was JUST talking about your Total Eclipse literal video tonight... at a friend's karaoke birthday party, where I was cursing the bar's lack of "Holding Out For a Hero," which is my go-to song at karaoke. What I may lack in Bonnie Tyler's vocal power, I make up for in enthusiasm... and proselytizing zeal for your literal music videos. I have hoped you'd make a video for this song. I never even thought about singing in one. Any chance you'll consider extending the deadline through this weekend?
