In my view, these so called ''Musicians'' live in a shit culture of expensive MTV video's, and an image which consists of how many diamonds you can carry on your neck, or how many pairs of trainers you can sell in a year.

All one has to do is watch the episode of J.Ross with Puff Diddy a few weeks back, and you'll see how little talent this guy has.

Most of the rappers who rap about "money, diamonds, murder ect. ect." (and tbh i don't think Jay-Z fits that catagory) have lived shit lives with shit upbringings and next to nothing. @HitchHikersBlues try to interpret what they say seeing the background of most of the rappers that have risen to fame... as jay-z puts it in "99 problems" : "if you grew up with holes in your zapatos, you'll celebrate the minute you was having dough".... it is their special way to convey emotions and feelings, revisiting their way from the gutter to the olympus of their musical genre (at least that's true for jay-z, cause he really did it)
