First: Where's the Election?

Isn't this a little undemocratic to have the sitting Government using the media to openly attack the opposition outside of an election? If that's not propaganda - what is?

Second: Why can't the conservatives ever run on their own platform? What is their platform?

Third: Isn't this anti-Americanism - someone spends time in America and they're bad? American's should be insulted by these commercials.

Anyways Conservatives are now officially out of touch.

I agree on that point but we're left with the disturbing knowledge that NO-ONE in the whole Liberal Party had enough vision or fortitude to run for leader against Ignatieff. Whatever one thinks of Ignatieff, one must seriously question the leadership quality of the Liberal Party in general if not even ONE other member came forth. Even if I could put aside my resentment about Adscam, I'd withhold my vote from the Liberals on the principle that coronations are beneath the dignity of this country.

The greatest thing about these ads which conservatives will hate to hear is that they are actually encouraging Liberal supporters to get out and give money to the party... most Liberals I've spoken to are disgusted by them and are now motivated even more to try and oust Harper. The fact that these videos were released when the Liberals were up in the polls is no coincidence. Other than giving the hardcore conservatives a chuckle these ads are doing more harm to the CPC than good.

Who needs to go see a hockey game? Just look at your elected officials in action. You've got your scrappers, your pests, your penalty killers, your scorers, shitloads of fouls and offsides, near-continuous faceoffs.

Propaganda? So its not true that Ignatieff spent 34 years outside of the country, lived most of it in Great Britain and called the USA his "country". No, this isn't called anti-Americanism. This is just you trying to deflect attention away from the actual issue. Americans needn't be upset at all since this has nothing to do with America as a country but everything to do with a "Canadian" that has spent half his life out of Canada wanting to become Prime Minister.
